Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabelle Briggs-Myers have taken Personality Type to a higher level in the sixties:

They introduced the terminology widely used today.

They developed the first measurable test of Personality Type, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator or MBTI.

Before Myers-Briggs, Personality Type determination was a qualitative endeavor for psychologist and other counselors. With their ground breaking work they made Personality Type a tool widely used in the business world to unleash the potential of teams, understand human interaction and unfold the potential of workers.

The MBTI test is still the most widely used, but can be taken only within a counseling relationship with a certified professional.
