There have been many effort to classify human beings in psychological and behavioural terms. Early classification systems date back to Classical Greece, The father of modern Personality Type Analysis is the Swiss psychologist C.G.Jung who laid out the basis to today's models in 1920. Another break through has been achieved by K.Briggs and I.Myers-Briggs, who in the 60ies introduced the currently widely accepted nomenclature and developed the first quantitative Personality Type test. Many other have contributed to research. We are thankful to all of them for the better understanding that we have of human nature through their work.
